Children's Developmental

Services Agency of Winston-Salem

​

Local Children's Developmental Services Agencies are available to help families, caregivers, and professionals serve children with special needs. Developmental and other testing at no cost to families, Service Coordination which assist families in identifying needs and finding resources. Serves Forsyth, Davidson, Davie, Stokes, Surrey, and Yadkin counties.

Lewisville Family Counseling 

 

Offers grief counseling and parent support, including telehealth appointments. Other services include: stress management, child and adolescent therapy, family counseling and more.

Cancer Services

One Love Strong 

 

Provides support services to families with high risk pregnancies and premie babies. Hosts social family events and provides monthly care packages. Refers clients to other community resources available. Also offers emergency baby supplies and access to a community pantry.

United Healthcare Children's Foundation

 

Provides medical grants that enhance the quality of life for children across the United States. The grants give kids the care they need by helping with medical expenses not covered, or not fully covered, by their family’s commercial health insurance.

Offer compassionate therapy for children, teens, adults, couples, & families. Serve patients in Winston-Salem, NC with individual therapy, group therapy, parenting programs and therapeutic supervised visitations.

The Shalom Project

The program offers a food pantry and clothing closet every Tuesday from 9 AM to noon. Participants are eligible for items every 30 days. In addition, they have a Medical Clinic and Pharmacy open on Wednesday from 5-7 PM.  â€‹
